- Plaikni Falls shoots down the cliff and then tumbles down a stony stream bed.
- Ramona Creek parallels the trail for about a mile and is a very pretty creek. This is at one of the places where the trail crosses over the creek.
- Rampart Ridge Trail Nisqually River and National Park Inn
- Green scum on Gee Creek as it slowly flows north from Carty Lake in the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge.
- This wood bridge spans a wet area along the trail. The lack of use shows but it is still sturdy.
