The Camera looks at Lake McDonald, which is the largest lake in Glacier National Park. The camera is located at the southern end of the lake.
Lake McDonald is about 10 miles (16 km) long, more than a mile (1.6 km) wide, and is at an elevation of 3,153 feet (960 m).
