I snowshoed up the ridge to the west of White River almost all the way to Timberline this past Sunday. Nice and warm at the beginning, but cold and frosty on top with the wind coming off Hood!!! Almost no one at the top then came down the steep slope into the head of the White River Valley, Coming back to the car, there were 100’s of people down at the bottom playing in the snow next to the snowpark. The snow was pretty deep this year, probably still 4-6′ deep depending where you were. In some spots, the poles were useless…. sunk right down to the grips and didn’t stop.

Enjoy the pics!!
