Eliot Crossing is now OPEN. The trail reroute was completed on 9/14/2016. This section of trail was closed due to an extreme washout on the trail that occurred in 2006. A 1.4 mile reroute has been constructed downstream of the previous crossing.
I’ll be adding our backpacking trip that we did before the washout.
