- Van Horn Creek flows down a small waterfall into the meadow new the Lake James ranger cabin.
- Looking down at Lake James and the West Fork of the White River on the side trail to Natural Bridge.
- Natural Bridge with Lake Ethel in the background.
- Dozens of trees near the Lake James Ranger cabin were blown down in a tangled mess. The trail to the cabin was totally covered in tree trunks and branches.
