- Yeah! We've finished our hike on time and without any lasting injuries! We had wonderful weather and plenty of mosquitoes to urge us on.
- Wildflowers blooming in Jefferson Park, OR with Mt. Jefferson in the background.

- We stopped climbing when the slopes look too steep to be entirely safe for the Scouts and the adults too.

- We found this bark beetle crawling on the log and prodded it into the the light for a better picture. This bug crawled pretty slow so it must be a very nasty tasting bug.
- We climbed up one of the scree slopes along the Whitewater Trail for exercise and a better view of Mt. Jefferson.
