- A garden snake waits patiently for me to pass, not even flicking out its tongue. This is on the Triple C Trail.
- A large meadow along the Burnt Bridge Creek Greenway, west of Leverich Park. The trail splits and goes along either side of this meadow.
- A large pond along the Burnt Bridge Creek Greenway, near Fruit Valley Road.
- A nice mix of wildflower among the rocks can be found on Table Mountain. Here Lupines and Indian Paintbrush bloom in July.
- A nutria is busy gathering food in a pond along the Burnt Bridge Creek trail, just east of Andreson Road.
