Nadnevak izrade / 2012
- Snow, ice, and wind was too much for this tree which snapped in two. The top augered into the snow.
- A side trail drops down to the Crooked River. A deep pool of water eddies beside the trail.
- Hikers pause to take a break along the Plaikni Falls Trail in Crater Lake National Park.
- Kevin has his coffee to start the day.
- Exposed rocks during lower water give a chance to explore the rocks and pools along Sweet Creek.
- Looking back towards Table Mountain from the bushwhack trail Kevin found. The trail worked out beautifully as a return loop.
- Piggyback plants grow along the Triple C Trail near the Nehalem River.
- Tryon Creek flows through the park.
- The Dog Mountain Trail near the summit. This is a view to the west, looking over Wind Mountain. This photo was taken past the peak of the Balsam Root flowers blooming.
- Lady Slipper Orchids bloom early in the spring along the trail.
- Mt. Rainier and Little Tahoma rest under a blanket of clouds along Emmons Glacier View Trail.
- Penstemmons cling to the cliffs along Garfield Peak Trail in Crater Lake National Park.
- Hundreds of volunteers donated thousands of hours of work to rebuild this trail. Here is an example of a rock wall along the Glacier Basin Trail.
- Branches from dead trees dangle in the trail making this section seem like a haunted forest.
- Midway through Swale Canyon the trail is mostly well packed with just a few 100-yard patches of loose gravel.
