- What's not to love when you look at the textures and colors of these rocks?
- Wildflowers bloom along the trail because the old undergrowth was blasted away and covered with a layer of ash providing pioneer plants such as Lupine an ideal place to grow.
- Wizard Island rises above the azure blue water of Crater Lake.
- Wonderful clouds were lit by the early morning sun on my way to the trailhead.
- Woodpeckers have been busy here looking for bugs to eat in this rotten tree trunk near the parking lot. Look for other snags in the park that have been used by the woodpeckers.
- You can get pretty close to Sweet Creek Falls, but the rocks get slicker from the spray as you get closer to the falls.
