- Looking north from the Cape Lookout trail
- Mt. Rainier and the West Fork of the White River from the edge of Grand Park in Mt. Rainier National Park.

- The Neahkahnie Mountain Trail switchbacks up from Highway US 101 and climbs up through an open meadow. This is looking north to Cape Falcon in the far distance.
- Round Mountain looks like an anthill viewed from the upper portion of the Starvation Ridge Trail.

- A closeup of a Garter snake on the trail which has become immobile.
- This is the trailhead on the PCT for the West Ridge Trail up Table Mountain. The trail get much steeper from here. We passed this junction and went to the next one.

- Woodpeckers have been busy here looking for bugs to eat in this rotten tree trunk near the parking lot. Look for other snags in the park that have been used by the woodpeckers.

- Looking from the Watchman fire lookout.
- As you're hiking along the shore to look up into the sky as well as down the trail and along the ground. These trees made an interesting pattern against the beautiful blue sky.
