- Snow buries a bridge on the southwest side of Longmire Meadows. The water is still warm enough to stay open all winter.
- Mt. Hood from the south shore of Trillium Lake. The picnic area is on the right side of the lake.
- Water cascades down cliffs in several places along the trail during the wet season. This is just past a switchback on the west side of Oneonta Creek.
