- Looking down the Mt. Fremont trail to Frozen Lake.
- Looking down the ridge leading up to Barrett Spur.
- Looking down the trail you have views of the trail as it descends to the trailhead.
- Looking down the valley, you can see the White River in the valley and the road to Sunrise at the upper left of the picture.
- Looking down towards Reflection Lakes shows a creeping mist on the valley floor. Nice to be on the ridge.
- Looking down towards the lake from the ridge southeast of Coldwater Lake, you see this blasted fire truck soon after passing the yarder at the top of the ridge.
- Looking down you get one more time to check out the Loowit Trail snaking down to Toutle River.
- Looking downriver from Cottonwood Beach shows the river banks to be mostly free from development.
- Looking downriver on the Otter Bench Trail shows the near-desert scenery of the area. The wide-open spaces make for a tranquil hike.
