- Mt. St. Helens from Plains of Abraham
- Mt. Jeffrsonpeeking above one of the big gullies we had to cross.
- Mt. Jefferson in the far distance.
- Mt. Hood from our night one camp above Ape Canyon.
- Mt. Hood again comes into view on one of the spines radiating out from Mt. St. Helens.
- Mt. Adams in the evening light on the southeast side of the Loowit Trail.
- Mt. Adams from the east side of the Loowit Trail.
- Mt. Adams comes back into view but all these blocks of lava have to be climbed over.
- Loowit Falls thunders out of the crater.
- Loowit Falls is accessed by a short side trail from the Loowit Trail.
- Looking northwest from Windy Pass
- Looking north you can see Mt. Rainier peeking out again as you climb back up to the timberline.
- Looking down you get one more time to check out the Loowit Trail snaking down to Toutle River.
- Looking down into the Toutle River valley.
- Looking back to Windy Gap.
