- Lots of white oak meadows.
- Here is the trailhead. It is easy to miss and go too far down the road.
- Some nice views from the hillside.
- Early spring rains turn the hills green.
- Some of these white oak trees look really old.
- This hike is on the dry side of the Gorge, though we still got some rain.
- These are buttercups. There were some nice patches of them.
- Glacier Lilies dot the trail in a few places.
- The top of the trail goes on the edge of a tree farm.
- Leaving the gravel road for the actual trail.
- Grass Widow flowers dot the trail early spring.
- Nice views into the valley towards Husum.
