- You can see Loowit Falls from several places as you approach it.
- Wildflowers along the June Lake Trail
- We start seeing more flowers as we get away from the lahars.
- We had this great view of Mt. Adams from our camp at sunset.
- We didn't see Willow Springs. I guess it is downhill from the trail junction. We continued on the Loowit.
- Trail junction near night 1 camp.
- This section of the trail is very rocky.
- This is the seasonal stream that goes over Chocolate Falls.
- This dusty area would not be a good place to be on a really windy day. It is a good idea to bring some sort of dust filter on this trip.
- There were nice wildflowers at camp.
- There are some spectacular dry camps along the Loowit if you plan ahead.
- The trail leading down to the Toutle River. You kind of make your way across the sandy slope. There isn't much of a trail.
- The sun rises over a sea of clouds as we start out second day.
- The Muddy River is in the foreground of this Mt. Adams photo.
- The mountains behind Spirit Lake almost totally hide Mt. Rainer as the trail drops down.
