Όλα
- Mt. Rainier rises majestically above everything early in the morning.
- I cut a couple of windows in the igloo the next morning so we could cook while sitting inside.
- I always like the patterns the blocks make. You have to look a bit to see the spiral pattern of the blocks.
- A fox came by camp in the morning but didn't stay long. There was enough crust on the snow that the fox just walked right on top.
- Send in the clouds!
- Pinnacle Peak in the Tatoosh Range looks like a matterhorn. What a view from our camp!
- Looking down towards Reflection Lakes shows a creeping mist on the valley floor. Nice to be on the ridge.
- I've got everything out of the igloo, ready for destruction.
- Kevin's water hose froze up during the night. I thawed it out for him while he was packing up.
- The top blocks were pretty thin, so I had to stand carefully on top of the igloo, proving how strong it is.
- We're all packed up and ready to go. No wet tent for me to worry about.
- Looking at the Tatoosh Range from Paradise. Brrr...
- Drove up to Paradise. I thought the avalanche danger was too high this day to snowshoe the rest of the way up Mazama Ridge and over to Paradise.
- Mt. Rainier making a cloud cap from the moist air coming from the ocean.
- Looking from Paradise to the place we camped on Mazama Ridge.
