- Looking up at Cresent Mountain from above Windy Gap. Cresent Lake is below this ridge on the right.
- The white umbrella-like flowers of Cow Parsnip (Latin name: Heracleum lanatum) blooming along the trail between Ipsut Campground and the lower Carbon River crossing. This plant is easily identifed by its large rough leaves and tall, hollow stems. This pla
- Zach using a rope to descend the Wonderland Trail near Winthrop Creek.
- The pit toilet at Dick Creek Camp has an invitation just for the guys! Like guys need an incentive to pee off a cliff!
- These small whtie flowers of Bunchberry or Canadian Dogwood (Latin name: Cornus Canadensis) are unique in that there are only two white bracts instead of four.
- The Wonderland trail climbs to this overview of Winthrop Glacier. Rocks and dirt are constantly falling off the top of the glacier and rolling downt he ice face into the streambed.
- Dropping down from Skyscraper Mountain heading towards Frozen Lake is this field of lupines framing Mt. Rainier in the background on the Wonderland Trail.
- Looking north towards Tyee Peak just west of Windy Gap on the Northern Loop Trail.
- These plants with pink flowers look like a giant version of Dutchman's Breeches. They grow 5 to 6 feet high along the trail between Carbon River Camp and Ipsut Campground on the west side of Carbon River.
- Winthrop Glacier and the glacial stream flowing from underneath the glacier. Rocks and dirt are constantly falling off the top of the glacier and rolling downt he ice face into the streambed.
- Van Horn Falls along the Northern Loop Trail. This is a great place to filter water along the trail.
- Dropping down from Skyscraper Mountain heading towards Frozen Lake is this field of lupines. This is looking down towards Berkeley Park.
- Zach crossing the suspension bridge over the Carbon River near Carbon River Camp. This is always one of the highlights of the trip because we always take a break at the west end of the bridge in the shade.
- Mt. Rainier taken from the last switchback in the trees on the way up to Skyscraper Pass. This was a good place to take a break in the shade before climbing up to Skyscraper Pass.
- Flood damage along the West Fork of the White River on the Northern Loop Trail.
