Home / Paradise River Snow Photos WA 64
Creation date / 2012 / February
- Well, a little snow doesn't matter to an igloo.
- We stopped to enjoy all the different patterns on the bark of the different trees along the trail.
- Trailmates Tim, Meagan, and Mark returning from Paradise River Camp.
- Time to knock down the igloo.
- Tim and Mark finally decide to venture out into the snow.
- This is an interesting rock along the trail. Winter snows highlight lichens and anything not covered in snow.
- This creek flows into Paradise River. The rocks make a nice pattern in the creek. I could stay around here all day.
- These huge icicles are by Carter Falls.
- There are several places along the trail where you can see all the way down to the trail. This little hole is about 4 feet deep.
- The weather was cold enough to freeze the snow blocks together and I am able to stand on top of the igloo.
- The snow makes nice patterns in Paradise River along the Wonderland Trail.
- The snow makes little hats on the rocks.
- The creeks are so scenic in the winter with all the fresh snow.
- The creek still has plenty of open water in the winter even with all the fresh snow.
- The 3rd bridge over the river. The snow must weigh a few tons on the bridge.
