- Upper crossing of Pernham Creek on Chetwoot Loop, with no bridge.
- Trail sign just above the trail at the juction for the Wygant Peak Trail.
- Yellow Western Groundsel (Latin Name: Yellow Senico integerrimus) and pink daisies on the overlook along the Wygant Trail.
- Active osprey next on the powerline tower with Mitchell Point in the background
- Looking west from the viewpoint at about mile 1.5. This is just before the trail begins climbing up past the powerlines and towards Wygant Peak
- This Log bridge over Pernham Creek has washed out and now you cross on a downed log.
- Blue and white Rattan's Blue Eyed Mary (Latin Name: Colinsia Rattanii) and Yellow Western Groundsel (Latin Name: Senico integerrimuson) the Wygant Trail.
- Giant Hound's Tongue (Latin Name: Cynoglossom Grande) on the Wygant Trail, April 2008
- The only waterfall on this hike is a from a small stream along the Wygant Trail
