- There were these giant earthworms everywhere on the upper part of the trail.
- This sign is at the turn-around point.
- This old equipment is at the turnaround point. We found the geocache without even trying.
- A few acorns and leaves hung on through the winter,.
- The trail follows the open slopes with a fairly consistent grade.
- Augspurger Mountain is in the distance on the right side of the photo.
- The hillsides are green in early spring.
- As you get higher the hillsides really open up.
- Nice views into the valley towards Husum.
- Grass Widow flowers dot the trail early spring.
- Leaving the gravel road for the actual trail.
- These are buttercups. There were some nice patches of them.
