- Hardy Ridge Trail at the 4-way junction. The sign shows the junction for the Hardy Ridge Loop Trail and the Lower Loop Trail.

- A plaque near the trailhead shows that Lacamas Lake Park was dedicated in 1964.
- We found this bark beetle crawling on the log and prodded it into the the light for a better picture. This bug crawled pretty slow so it must be a very nasty tasting bug.

- The trail loops around historic Longmire Meadows and has several signs explaining plants, wildlife, and history around the meadows.
- A garden snake waits patiently for me to pass, not even flicking out its tongue. This is on the Triple C Trail.

- Wildflowers blooming along the Hardy Ridge Loop Trail.

- Jewel Weed (Latin Name: Impatiens capensis). This grows in a few wet areas along the trails in Lacamas Lake Park.
- Taking a break along the trail. There are plenty of wildflowers along the trail.
