Publikavimo data / 2017 / Liepa
- The morning lightis so nice.
- The Loowit Trail wiggles through the rocks.
- The Loowit Trail passing through the rock-strewn landscape.
- The Loowit Trail on the southeast side of Mt. St. Helens
- The illsides are ablaze with Lupine and Paintbrush.
- The beginning of the blocky rocks that you have to negotiate.
- The approach to Windy Gap
- The 1980 eruption caused lahars to sweep down the slopes. Erosion h deepens and erodes thesechannels.
- Steve standing on a snow bridge to get water. This is another place where I didn't filter the water.
- Spirit Lake still has logs floating on it and they cluster at different spots around the lake depending on the wind patterns.
- Seemingly endless fields of lava blocks where you have to balance on to negotiate this section of the trail.
- Pumice Butte
- One of the many sketchy parts of the Loowit Trail.
- Nice to have a camp above the clouds.
- Mt. St. Helens peeks out as we slowly climb away from the lahars on the north side of Mt. St. Helens.
