- Looking back from near where we camped. There is a better spot to camp on the first shelf and walking upstream about 200 feet.
- Looking back across the Toutle.
- Looking across the way you can see the trail where it switchbacks down the sandy mountainside.
- Just a glimpse of Mt. Rainier from our night 1 camp.
- June Lake Trailhead
- June Lake and one of several waterfalls that flow into it.
- It takes a while to climb down into the ravine. The trail isn't the best here.
- It seemed most of the wildflowers in the forest were white.
- I tried a little less exposure to capture the color of the sky better.
- I took serveral pictures around the camp that morning.
- I thought this was the best view of Spirit Lake from teh trail. The trail continues to drop down a bit until Mt. Rainier disappears.
- I thought it would be fun to catch my shadow.
- Here is the trail leaving the Muddy River floodplain.
- Here is one of the really big ravines the trail drops into and climbs out of on the west side.
- Heidi using the rope descent down to the floodplain of the Toutle.
