- Crevasses on the Carbon Glacier as it flows down the flanks of Mt. Rainier. The rugged glacier is due to the river of ice flowing over uneven ground. Cravasses open and close as the glaciers flows downhill.
- Flowers in bloom at Moraine Park along the Wonderland Trail.
- Here is the suspension bridge over the roaring Carbon River. There was a flood a few years ago that was high enough to cause damage to this bridge and close it for repairs.
