Salmonberries grow along portions of the Moulton Falls Tail and they ripen in early July. They have a fairly bland taste.

The Moulton Falls Trail crosses over the East Fork of the Lewis River about .1 mile east of Moulton Falls.

The East Fork of the Lewis River parallels the Moulton Falls Trail.

There is about a 10 foot waterfall next to the Moulton Falls Trail.

About 1/2 mile from the Hantwick Road Trailhead is a pond about 2 acres in size surrounded by trees. The trail passes by on the south side of the pond.

Candyflower (Latin name: Montia sibirica) in bloom along the Moulton Falls Trail. The plant is about 12 inches tall and most stems have a pair of leaves with small white flowers. The plant looks a little like Miner's Lettuce because it is a relative.
