Looking south from near the trailhead towards Cannon Beach is certainly one of the nicer views of the Oregon Coast.

Tillamook Rock Lighthouse can be seen in the distance from near the trailhead. This lighhouse has an interesting history and is now a repository for cremations.

Basalt forms these headlands which are now almost worn away by the unceasing battering of the ocean waves.

Jasmine looks down the trail and her shadow precedes her on this section of the Oregon Coastal Trail which passes through Ecola State Park.
