- A bronze plaque commemorating the land donation of Beacon Rock to the State Park system.
- Mosses hanging from all the trees glow in the sun and are a good indication of many rainy days.

- Trailhead sign for the Wahkeena Falls Trail in the Columbia River Gorge
- Fog shrouds the mountainside along Ed's Trail.
- The trail to Elk Meadows passes by the junction to Umbrella Falls. It appears new trail signs were installed in 2010.
- Hardy Ridge Trail at the 4-way junction. The sign shows the junction for the Hardy Ridge Loop Trail and the Lower Loop Trail.
- Mt. St. Helens viewed from near the June Lake Trailhead. The end of September is usually the best time for fall colors along this trail.
- A plaque near the trailhead shows that Lacamas Lake Park was dedicated in 1964.

- Ridges from Mt. Hood define the landscape at Cairn Basin. The Timberline Trail meets the trail to Eden Park here.
- Here is the start of the trail at the Hantwick Road trailhead. This trail is open for horse,hikers,and mountain bikers. It is also suitable for strollers.
- The Starvation Ridge Trail quickly climbs to this wonderful view of the Columbia River Gorge looking east.
- Multnomah Falls cascades hundreds of feet down a sheer cliff into a plunge pool, then over another waterfall.
- A sign at the Macleay trailhead talks about fish and wildlife in addition to information about the trail.
