- Mt. Hood from the Timberline Trail above Lamberson Butte. Trees at this elevation grow incredibly slow and never get much over ten foot tall.
- Wildflowers bloom in meadows along the Timberline Trail.
- A Bronze plaque commemorating the service of Keith Lemmons at Lemmons Viewpoint on the Wahkeena Falls Trail.

- Near the top of Beacon Rock is a small rock column providing an interesting addition to the view.
- The trail to Elk Meadows passes by the junction to Umbrella Falls. It appears new trail signs were installed in 2010.
- The lower portion of the Mazama Trail has dappled sunlight on the trail.
- An informative sign talks about Lewis and Clark's journal describing their sighting of Beacon Rock.
- Trailhead sign for the Wahkeena Falls Trail in the Columbia River Gorge
- There are a couple sections of old railings still along the trail. This overlooks the Columbia River.
- Beacon Rock rises above the Columbia River in the distance to the east. Beacon Rock is in Washington State on the north shore of the Columbia River.
- Mosses hanging from all the trees glow in the sun and are a good indication of many rainy days.
