- A beautiful view of Mt. Hood from just above the Pacific Crest Trail.
- A bench was constructed on top of Second Burroughs at Mt. Rainier National Park.
- A break in the Douglas Fir trees provides a view of the surrounding forest along the Salmon Butte Trail.
- A bridge on the Owyhigh Trail crosses Chinook Creek near Deer Creek Camp. The waterfall cascades into a clear green pool.
- A butterfly rests near Harphan Creek flows across the Wyeth Trail.
- A butterfly takes a break from feeding on flowers along the Owyhigh Trail in Mt. Rainier National Park.
- A carved wooden sign at the trailhead shows the beginning of the South Climb Trail 183 to Mt. Adams.
- A couple pair of Wood Ducks were swimming in the creek and resting on the rocks near the Eagle Creek Trailhead.
- A dwarf lupine is able to survive among the rocks near the Mt. Fremont lookout at Mt. Rainier National Park.
- A few Tiger Lillies (Latin name: Lilium columbianum) grow along the trail providing a bright splash of orange along the Wyeth trail in the late spring.
- A field of Avalanche Lillies along the trail in Berkeley Park.
- A field of flowers along the Wonderland Trail. The trail and hillsides were strewn with flowers in mid-July.
- A forested and snow covered ridge of hills looking east from above Frosty rocks on the shady side of the ridge. This is on a promontory west of the Pacific Crest Trail between Barlow Pass and Twin Lakes.
- A frosty morning fortells the end of the berry season and the snow isn't far behind.
- A fuzzy plant grows along the rocks and catches the morning sun on Kamiak Butte.
