- This is where the Wildwood Trail crosses the Dogwood Trail. You can see the signs have been vandalized so the junction isn't signed when this photo was taken in August 2010.
- June Lake showing the waterfall that feeds the lake. This lake is a popular snowshoe destination because it usually stays ice-free.
- Jasmine takes a break on the Bluff Mountain Trail.
- Igloo construction site. The igloo will be built at the top and the bottom is where I'll cut out the snow blocks.
- Vernon taking a break along Sweet Creek Trail. This is a great spot to sit and look down on the pool and the creek below Sweet Creek Falls.
- Columbia Kittentails (Latin Name: Synthyris stellata) growing along the Elk Mountain-Kings Mountain Trail. This is a fairly short plant, about 4 to 6 inches tall and usually blooms early in the spring.
