- The trail has a gate that is closed from dusk to 8am. I would hate to get caught on the trail and find the gate closed.
- The trail is a fairly narrow track and can get muddy on rainy days.
- The trail is across the road and easy to find.
- The trail junction with the Timberline Trail and the trailhead of the Mazama Trail are well signed.
