- Hundreds of volunteers donated thousands of hours of work to rebuild this trail. Here is an example of a rock wall along the Glacier Basin Trail.
- It looks like Chris is checking her watch. I bet she wants us to hurry up and get to the worksite!

- This singualar vine maple was in full color along the closed road up to the trailhead.
- Here is what Carpenters Lake looks like. There isn't much of a lake anymore, just some small pools and a wetland.
- The trail comes out of the trees after about the 1st mile and there are nice views to the north and east from the Grouse Vista Trail.
- This giant hemlock tree shows its wrinkles from old age in tht Grove of the Patriarchs.
- Beacon Rock and the Columbia River
- The Washington Trail Association rebuilt this section of the Hardy Ridge Loop Trail. I think some of the volunteers made this decoration along the upper portion of the eastern part of the loop.
- Indian Point
- Reflection Lake taken 9/27/2005 at about 8:30 in the morning.

- Branches from dead trees dangle in the trail making this section seem like a haunted forest.
- Huffman Peak from the trai.
- Will is crossing over the log footbridge across Nickel Creek. This is the largest creek that you cross on this trip, unless you decided to cross the bridge at Indian Bar.
