- Looking down the trail you have views of the trail as it descends to the trailhead.
- The shelter at Elk Meadows is pretty run down. The roof appears to be mostly waterproof.
- Elk Mountain can be seen in the distance from the trail. Elk Mountain is the tallest peak in the distance in this picture.
- Water pipe on McCord Creek Trail. Think of the effort it took to haul these sections of pipe up the hillside. I think these pipes supplied water to a sawmill.
- Glacial flour causes this lake to be turquoise colored. This is from the Emmons View Trail.
- Looking down from the suspension bridge provides a great view of Falls Creek.
