- One of the many dogs along the trail. Even though there is a leash law, the majority of dogs run free on this trail.
- Nurse Log hanging over the Lewis River along the Lewis River Trail.
- Log bridge on the Lewis River Trail in the fall of 2008.
- The trail is a fairly narrow track and can get muddy on rainy days.
- Extending the hike leads back to the Wildwood Trail.
- Frank and Kip snowshoeing down Mazama Ridge for a lunch at Reflection Lakes.
- I've got everything out of the igloo, ready for destruction.
- Rhododendrons bloom along the Mazama Trail but the blooms appear sparse. Parts of the forest are covered by the bushes.
- A Red-winged blackbird looks for dangererous tourists at the Tom McCall Nature Preserve. These birds love to hang around the ponds.

- Salmonberries grow along portions of the Moulton Falls Tail and they ripen in early July. They have a fairly bland taste.
