- Mt. Rainier from the Skyline Trail in the fall.
- Monkey Face is the tower of rock in the left side of the picture. It looks like it could fall over at any time, but is actually a very large spire of rock.
- Returning back to the trailhead we passed these interesting cornices which formed at the top of a very steep slope.
- Along the Starway Trail passes a seasonal pond.
- Looking downriver from Cottonwood Beach shows the river banks to be mostly free from development.
- Vernon taking a break along Sweet Creek Trail. This is a great spot to sit and look down on the pool and the creek below Sweet Creek Falls.
- Table Mountain from the Heartbreak Ridge trail. Hundreds of years ago the side of the mountain slid down into the Gorge revealing this cliff.
- Sandy River Canyon
- Walking under the overhanging cliff at Ponytail Falls on Horsetail Creek in the Columbia River Gorge.
- Here are several native plants along the Trillium Trail. Yellow violets, Stinging Nettle and Coltsfoot mostly fill the picture.
- Frosty rocks on the shady side of the ridge. This is on a promontory west of the Pacific Crest Trail between Barlow Pass and Twin Lakes.
