- Basalt cliffs tower above the forest along the Glacier Basin Trail.
- Old copper mining equipment is slowly being overgrown along the Glacier Basin Trail. You can only see the ruins in a couple of places along the trail.
- Looking down the valley, you can see the White River in the valley and the road to Sunrise at the upper left of the picture.
- Rocky cliffs loom above Glacier Basin.
- Abundant water feeds carpets of pink Monkeyflowers in Glacier Basin.
- A defiant rock points skyward above Glacier Basin.
- The summit of Mt. Rainier peeks out from the slopes of Glacier Basin.
