- An azure sky provides a backdrop for Vine Maple leaves near Warren Lake on Mitchell Point Trail.
- Bear Lake as seen from the Mt. Defiance Cutoff Trail.
- A very nice footbridge crosses Warren Creek just below Hole-in-the-Wall Falls.
- The Columbia River looks quite small from near the top of the Mt. Defiance Trail.
- Toadstools appear in the forests after fall rains. Here are some reddish toadstools breaking ground.
- Mt. Rainer can easily be seen in the distance from a panoramic viewpoint along the Mt. Defiance Trail.
- Jasmine poses along the Mt. Defiance Cutoff Trail with Mt. Rainier in the distance.
- Hole-in-the Wall Falls cascades into this pool just upstream from where the trail crosses over Warren Creek.
- Wind Mountain seems so small and far below at this viewpoint along the Mt. Defiance Trail.
- The Hemlock Trees provide foreground interest for this view of Mt. Adams along the Mt. Defiance Trail.
- Fall colors paint the leaves on the north side of Warren Lake in October along the Mitchell Point Trail.
- At the summit of Mt. Defiance are several radio towers. Here is a worker doing maintenance on one of the dishes.
- One of the viewpoints along the Mt. Defiance Trail provides this view of the Columbia River Gorge to the west. Round Mountain is towards the center of the picture.
- Cabin Creek Falls slows to a tiny plume of water in the summer and fall. This is near the Mt. Defiance Trailhead.
- The yellow leaves of Vine Maples are lit by the afternoon sun along the Mt. Defiance Trail.
