- Mist on a pond reflects the image of Mt. Rainier near sunset.
- Looking at a reflection of Mt. Rainier on a beautiful sunny day.
- Steve crossing the suspension bridge over the Carbon River near Carbon River Camp. I'm looking foward to the food break we always take at the west end of the bridge, in the shade.
- Looking down on Mystic Lake above the Wonderland Trail. Old Desolate is the mountain in the photo.
- Mt. Rainier at sunset near the saddle between Moraine Park and Mystic Lake. The pond is full of snowmelt and the pond dries up quite a bit during the summer.
- Fog lies in the Carbon River valley as the morning sun rises.
- Sunset above Mystic Lake looking down towards the Carbon River.
- Masses of Avalanche Lillies blooming at the lower end of Moraine Park along the Wonderland Trail.
- Looking down on Moraine Park from above the Wonderland Trail.
- The rising sun pours through two small breaks in the clouds in the east. These clouds later turned into thunderstorms but they never made it to the park.
- Mt. Rainier from just north of the saddle between Moraine Park and Mystic Lake on the Wonderland Trail.
- A marmot on a side trail munches on Lupine blooms above Moraine Park.
- Masses of Avalanche Lillies blooming at the lower end of Moraine Park along the Wonderland Trail.
- Along the trail up to Moraine Park these Avalanche Lillies are taking advantage of summer even though the snow hasn't melted.
- The big patch of dirt in the middle of the photo is the Carbon Glacier covered with rocks and dirt from Mt. Rainier. Fog lies in the Carbon River Valley far below.
