- A last look at the Crescent Mountains from the Northern Loop Trail.
- Zach crossing a log bridge over the Carbon River on the way to Ipsut Campground.
- One of the few waterfalls next to the Wonderland Trail between Dick Creek and Mystic Lake. This is a great place to drench your hat and shirt when climbing up the trail.
- A nice mossy, cool looking waterfall along the trail between Dick Creek and Mystic Lake. You could filter water here if you had to.
- Masses of Avalanche Lillies blooming at the lower end of Moraine Park along the Wonderland Trail.
- Steve using a rope to descend the Wonderland Trail near Winthrop Creek.
- Steve enjoying the view above Windy Gap. Tyee Peak is in the background. This was taken from the overlook of Cresent Lake.
- Unidentified thistle plant growing along the trail next to the Carbon River Glacier.
- Looking north towards Tyee Peak just west of Windy Gap above the Northern Loop Trail.
- The Wonderland Trail between the two Carbon River Crossing is closed in July 2009 due to a washout. Trail crews are working to reroute the trail.
- Steve crossing Winthrop Creek. It looks like this log could wash out on a hot day. I expect it will disappear in the fall rains.
- Flood damage along the West Fork of the White River on the Northern Loop Trail.
- Mt. Rainier taken from the last switchback in the trees on the way up to Skyscraper Pass. This was a good place to take a break in the shade before climbing up to Skyscraper Pass.
- Dropping down from Skyscraper Mountain heading towards Frozen Lake is this field of lupines. This is looking down towards Berkeley Park.
- Zach crossing the suspension bridge over the Carbon River near Carbon River Camp. This is always one of the highlights of the trip because we always take a break at the west end of the bridge in the shade.
