- Here is Tyler climbing up the trail through the snow. We saw a small patch of the dirt trail on the way up, but it was mostly covered in snow.
- High on the slopes of Mt. Jefferson plants eke out an existance. Here a small plant blooms in the volcanic soil.
- I used the self-timer on the camera to take this picture of us on the slopes of Mt. Jefferson. The haze in the distance is from distant forest fires.
- Indian Paintbrush blooms near the snow along the trail.
- Jude Lake was a great place to camp and the lake was shallow and relatively warm.
- Jude Lake with two of our travelers on the far side of the lake. This lake had lots of salamanders in it and carpenter ants in the campsite.
- Lance is taking a break. Mt. Hood is the snow-capped mountain in the far distance. Olallie Butte is the nearer peak.
- Lillies and Rhododendrons along the Whitewater Trail.
- Looking at 3-Fingered Jack from the snowy slopes of Park Butte before dropping into Jefferson Park.
- Looking back at Mt. Hood it is amazing to see how far we walked. When we started, we were almost on the slopes of Mt. Hood and now we are almost on the slopes of Mt. Jefferson.
- Looking to the east, we can see the drier land of Central Oregon in the far distance.
- Mr. Gourlie crossing a stream into Jefferson Park. This was an easy step-across stream. There weren't any hard stream crossing on this route.
- Mt. Jefferson and some of the beautiful wildflowers in Jefferson Park.
- Mt. Jefferson as we descend down the Whitewater Trail in July.
