- Pacific Rhododendron (Latin name: Rhododendron macrophyllum D. Don ex G. Don) in full bloom along the Salmon Butte Trail.
- Cardwell's Penstemon (Latin name: Penstemon cardwellii) is a low perennial that forms a mat and has purple to blue-violet flowers. It is common on disturbed, rocky soils.
