- It was dark when we drove almost to the trailhead before before the snow was too deep on the road to continue. We camped at the trailhead Friday night. The weather cooled overnight and the wet snow froze to the tents.
- Lake Anne is the first lake that you pass. It is slowly melting out.
- Lake Ann is in the day use only area and no camping or fires are allowed.
- This is Marion Lake. I guess an upwelling of water keeps the ice from freezing solid.
- Here is the rest of our group taking a lunch break in the B&B burn. In front is Jerimiah, Justin, and Andy.

- Frost on the bark and moss makes interesting patterns. The frost covered moss was swinging in the wind.
- Small branches covered with frost show which way the wind was blowing during the night at our campsite.
- Plenty of frosty trees at the camp makes you feel cold.
- Returning back to the trailhead we passed these interesting cornices which formed at the top of a very steep slope.
