- The trail is a fairly narrow track and can get muddy on rainy days.
- A few puffy clouds look almost like snow on the hills along the Columbia River Gorge.
- An interesting looking green bug walks very slowly in the chilly weather near the cherry orchard. This must be a tough bug to withstand the freezing nighttime temperatures.
- An oak tree frames this view looking west into the Columbia River Gorge.
- Looking across the Columbia, you can see some trees holding on to their fall foliage in November.
- A nice view looking east into the Columbia River Gorge from the Cherry Orchard Trail.
- Near the cherry orchard are some nice views of the nearby cliffs and the Columbia River.
- Lichen covered oak trees line parts of the trail above the Columbia River.
