- You can get pretty close to Sweet Creek Falls, but the rocks get slicker from the spray as you get closer to the falls.
- Wizard Island rises above the azure blue water of Crater Lake.
- Wildflowers bloom along the trail because the old undergrowth was blasted away and covered with a layer of ash providing pioneer plants such as Lupine an ideal place to grow.
- What could be a better way to have some water than with a view like this.
- Water cascades down a small waterfall along Sweet Creek Trail.
- Vernon taking a break along Sweet Creek Trail. This is a great spot to sit and look down on the pool and the creek below Sweet Creek Falls.
- Trees that were not blown down in the blast were killed as their branches and bark were scoured off in the 1980 blast.

- This moss was smiling at me as I walked by. It reminded me of a Smurf. I found this along the shore of Coldwater Lake.
- This is the trailhead on the PCT for the West Ridge Trail up Table Mountain. The trail get much steeper from here. We passed this junction and went to the next one.
