- Here is the main trailhead, just across the road from the stone-fenced parking lot.
- Coopey Creek flows along the trail for a short distance. This was taken just above the footbridge.
- Coming back down the Angel's Rest Trail you pass over a talus field and have this view to the west.
- Look for this trail sign to return to Trail #400 and back to Multnomah Falls. This sign is about .2 mile west of the Oneonta Tunnel.
- You can still smell the cedar from the timbers lining the Oneonta Tunnel. The tunnel has restored a few years with beautiful timbers.
- Walking along the very narrow shoulder of the road you soon come to a small portion of the old Columbia River Highway. This shows the restored tunnel at Oneonta Creek. This tunnel is for bikes and foot traffic only.
- Ponytail Falls shoots out over the cliff into a large plunge pool. The trail goes into the small gorge for Horsetail Creek and then behind this waterfall.
- Jasmine sits in front of a small memorial dedicated to Glenn Replogle who fell from the cliffs and died. This is located just west of Ponytail Falls along the clifs.
- Oneonta Creek has a small waterfall just upstream from where Trail #400 crosses Oneonta Creek Trail.
- A small waterfall cascades down just above the the Gorge Trail.
- Jasmine shows what the better parts of the trail look like. Other sections of the trail are rougher than this.
- A few small streams cross trail #400 between Multnomah Falls and Oneonta Creek.
- This plaque is at the junction where Gorge Trail #400 heads east from the Larch Mountain Trail #441 near Multnomah Falls.
- Multnomah Falls cascades hundreds of feet down a sheer cliff into a plunge pool, then over another waterfall.
- Cabin Creek Falls slows to a tiny plume of water in the summer and fall. This is near the Mt. Defiance Trailhead.
